8/4/18 More humpback whales today – the most we’ve seen on a single trip so far this summer! We are seeing more and more animals in the Monterey Bay, arriving to feed on krill and other fish throughout the summer. The humpback whales are busy in various pods across Monterey Bay, feeding, tail and pec-slapping, breaching. Wonderful viewing and nice ocean conditions. We've been seeing many sunfish (mola-mola), some recent trips we've seen Risso's dolphins. On the afternoon tripswe head over to see the great white sharks over near Seacliff State Beach.
